Chowking's Orange Chicken

No, the Orange Chicken is not a mascot!! Chowking's Orange Chicken is a new offering by Chowking's Menu. Chowking's Orange Chicken is available in three sets: the rice chow meal with a generous portion of orange chicken and rice at P69; lauriat, which includes crispy noodles, chicharap and buchi at P99; and salo-salo set for sharing at P125.

Up Close with the Orange Chicken

I’m glad that Chowking came out with their Orange Chicken, cause I'm also a chicken addict! The Orange Chicken was breaded and fried Chicken strips together with a sweet orange-y sauce topped to it. I ended up mixing it with the rice which made the awesome Orange Chicken more Oh-some!

KFC Twister Hawaiian

The KFC Twister now has another version which is the KFC Twister Hawaiian! When I saw KFC Hawaiian Twister, I got to try it for myself. Basically its like the previous KFC Twister but Hawaiian. The KFC Twister tasted like pizza but this time like a Hawaiian pizza but with a chicken as meat substitute.

A freshly prepared, Extra Crispy white meat chicken strips with shredded iceberg lettuce, fresh tomatoes, and pepper mayo sauce and maybe some Hawaiian KFC secret ingredients- all wrapped together in a soft, warm tortilla of sorts edible thing~KFC Twister for short.

I only took a picture of the packaging which identifies it as different from the regular KFC Twister, on the outside the two look the same w/o the packaging so might as well eat it rather than dissect it and posts its insides here XD .

I actually ate this at Parkmall in Mandaue when presidential candidate GIBO TEODORO was visiting the place and the Ai..Love - Fashion Show and Cosplay was taking place as well.

Harbour City Dimsum Treat

Harbour City Dimsum has changed over the years due to the changing of times. The Harbour City Dimsum I knew was a restaurant, noisy but with class. These days, Harbour City Dimsum is still named a restaurant but due to increasing competition and the emergence of Fast foods they had to adapt.

Even though the restaurant has changed over the years, i still like the chinese food they serve. Personally I would prefer the previous Harbour City Dimsum restaurant layout and designs but know its a bit livelier but maybe it was a suggestion from the customers to change there presentation.

Any way, my favorite sio mai to chow down is usually my big three: Mushroom, Plain and Quail Eggs sio mai. And the usual thing my family eat are those and some times shrimp sio mai with lumpia, sweet and sour pork/chicken/fish. Whenever I eat dimsum, I always remember my family and my past, it is just so nostalgic.

And this time around I went with friends and was treated in Harbour City Dimsum, SM City Cebu by Sinjin! Thanks B-day Boy and together with Mikyu (B-day Girl), Clado, Prince and Atty. Ethelbert.

KFC Twister

Have you tasted KFC’s new Twister meal? I got my first taste when I went to KFC IT Park branch. I am always fond of how KFC keeps on re-inventing there chicken fillet recipe. Basically, it’s always chicken-fillet like the gogo dragon (which I love so much but the Dragon version was discontinued ), and the like product lines.

This time, it tasted different that what I expected. I was surprised with the pepperoni (I think) that was in the burrito like twister. To be honest it was the first time I had that sort of taste and even as I am writing this, I can’t really put into right words the taste of it. But one thing is for sure…I want to eat it again! Wahahahah .. now I’m hungry…But It really taste good and its far more than I can ever imagine…I just love it!
