Marco Polo Lobby Lounge

We had some snacks in Marco Polo Lobby Lounge in Marco Polo Plaza Cebu through attending the press conference for FĂȘte de la Musique.

Croissant Sandwich w/ lettuce, Tomato and some imported salty cheese + Pineapple Juice

With me was X and Sinjin to listen to the french ambassadors and organizers with some sponsors as well.

A complicated version of an Ensaymada with Wonton

The croissant was a unique experience since I only tasted one without any filling but it was still good though.

Tacos + Quesadillas

The first encounter of mexican food that I had is with the Quesadilla and the Taco. I remember munching on these when I was still in High school. The "taco" is a traditional Mexican dish composed of a corn or wheat tortilla folded or rolled around a filling. It is generally eaten without utensils though.

I have eaten the variation which has some lettuce, tomatoes, beef and a soft shell wheat/corn tortilla. The fillings of a taco has multiple varieties ranging from beef, chicken, seafood, vegetables and cheese, allowing for great versatility and variety.

For the Quesadilla, I like it since its CHEESY!! The Quesadilla is a Mexican food made primarily of cheese inside a folded corn or wheat tortilla and cooked until the cheese melts. While cheese is the most common filling, other ingredients are also used in traditional Mexican quesadillas, including cooked vegetables, mushrooms, and meat. Can't wait to eat more Tacos and Quesadillas or even other types of Mexican food!
